Israeli made Desert Eagle's

They are now all made in the us but looks like profit river still has a new israeli made DE 50 (black) for sale. btw profit river has the best new prices for DEs in Canada. bought mine their last month and they were great to deal with.

I was looking at Prophet River, thanks for pointing out that the one is IWI, I thought all of theirs were from Magnum Research.

I assume the rumoured difference in quailty is why you are looking for Isreali built.

Right after they moved the manufacturing to the US, some guys were posting that the US made pieces where not as well built as the IWI. Was that really true? and if so, is it still true?

I'm sure Clay would tell you otherwise.

Some say the IWI one's a little better made. That being said, if they are completely equal I would still rather have one that was made in Israel rather than the States.

I wanted the chrome finish which limited me to the us made version. if i was buying a black one, all things being equal, i would buy the israeli made one as well. can't help but think it will retain its value a little better.

It finally came in the mail, thanks to Prophet River for hooking me up with this monster.

I just really can't dig the rail on it.
Why the hell are we all still stuck on trying to stick ####ing rails on everything?

The Desert Eagle had a rail since the Mark VII. This rail gives you more options. Sure it changes the look and 99% don't use the rail anyways but you always have the option to put some sort of optic for long range shooting.

How big are your hands? DE's require monkey hands to shoot. Biggest friggin' handgun I've ever played with. And the one I shot when they first came out had been worked on by Cylinder and Slide. Couldn't get my finger anywhere near the trigger with a proper grip.

I love the rail on my gold DE 44 mag, did order one Leupold Delta Point 7.5 MOA and one Eotech MRDS 3.5 MOA, one of those will be on my DE all the time... JP.

nice purchase.

I'm not a fan of rails either but on the desert eagle it is understandable that some may want to add optics. OK so i will never mount an optic on mine but no doubt the DE is used as a hunting gun down south.

The grip is big but not as big as i was expecting. I don't have huge hands and i do find it quite comfortable.
