I went for my weekly trip down to my local gun store today looking for 22 shells , and came home with something other then just 22 shells. I bought a 17 HMR in a rifle made by a company called ISSC. I have never heard of them before, but they seem to build a nice quality rimfire rifle. It has a straight pull bolt and a 10 round detachable magazine. It came with weaver style bases , a hard case and it has a 2 stage very light trigger. It is made in austria. Has any one every heard of one or tried one before?

I've seen their .22 pistols and SCAR type .22 rifles but have not seen their straight pull rifles. What did it set you back? You should do a little review on here with pictures of course.

I got it for $615, not sure if that was a good price or not. saw on a review they are supposed to be $500 US. I would post a few pics if someone can post them for me, Ive never got the photo bucket thing to work for me. Going to shoot it this weekend and see what I get for accuracy. Im mounting a leupold vx-1 3x9x40 on it in weaver rings.

I handled one at a LGS about a month ago. I absolutely love the straight-pull action! Felt like quality.

I think you got a really good price on that one!

Resurrecting this thread to see if anyone else has bought one of these rimfires? I just bought a used one for 500.00 and am currently awaiting its arrival, so checking to see if there are others who have bought and fired one since this thread was started.

Mine is the synthetic stocked version, not the target model.
