Hello,

Just wondering if anyone has any first hand experience with the ISSC M22? Are they decent guns for the money? Or are they problematic?

Thanks

T

If you do a google search, you will found a lot of interesting story about this gun, that said people who post those stories weren't happy at all.

Yeah, I did google, and saw a lot of the reviews. I guess I was just wondering if they've addressed a lot of the issues. I guess not. Too bad really, looks like it would be a fun little gun.

Just bought one. Havent had time to take it out yet but if you do the recommended break in it should be good to go so. I have read/watched accounts of which people said it wonf shoot crappy ammo where oyhers have said their guns love bulk pack stuff.
Once i get a chance to bring it out i will post back with a range report

Thanks. I would love to hear how it performs. I've been close to buying one a couple times now but just haven't. Were extra mags hard to find?

I have an M22 and love it. I run Blazers through it and it performs flawlessly. Cheaper bulk ammo doesn't have quite enough "umpf" to reliably cycle it, but Blazers are perfect - I have probably put a thousand Blazers through it and never had a malfunction.

I think you have to look at those reviews with the proper perspective. It's a 22 pistol. It needs a little working in like any other 22 pistol. That said, I wouldn't trade mine for any other.

This is an old thread but i was wondering if there are any other opinions since this pistol has been out for a while.

Hey..I have had my m22 for a few months now. The biggest problem I had with mine was constant failure to eject..multiple FTE per mag..This problem was with federal bulk ammo and winchester bulk ammo ONLY..This firearm prefers CCI ammo..I have since had great success with Blazers and mini-mags..they feed almost flawlessly..I didnt like the gun at first but it has been growing on me..Stick with the mini-mags and you shouldnt have any problems.. I had the m22 out last week and ran 300 rounds of CCI mini-mags through it with no issues whatsoever...I think it is worth the money IMHO

So from what most people are saying, it's not a poorly made gun as first thought, it just needs the higher velocity ammo to blow the slide back to eject properly due to it's design ?
With using Mini Mags or blazers people seem to have almost no failures. I'm thinking of picking one up because I have had the buckmark and MkIII before and they were reliable but got boring if that makes any sense. I was looking for something a little different so this light polyer might add some fun to shooting 22. I actually bought one and sold it a few weeks later before even shooting it.

It is a very good gun if you shoot the recommended CCI ammo. i too was getting a few FTE'S with federal bulk, but 0 problems with mini mags. stick to mini mags and you should be fine.

Are these guns really that close to the Glock 19 in terms of size and feel? I've never had a chance to actually play with one, because no one locally seems to ever have them in stock.

I have one and like it now. I use CCI mini mags and Blazer and it works fine. I took my dremmell and polished the feed ramp and spent 115 bucks to replace the POS sights it came with. The screws keep coming loose on the decocker.
I like it but knowing what I know now and given a second chance I wouldn't buy it again. It is fun to shoot and fairly accurate. What are you guys paying for them, I paid 500 bucks.
