ISSC M22 pistol and MK22 rifle, no warranty?

I have an ISSC M22. I love it, my favorite pistol now.

Anyway, I've looked it over and slide is incredibly simple. I want to machine my own slide as a winter project. I sent off an e-mail to ISSC looking for disassembly instructions to strip the slide.

This is their reply:

We regret to inform you that we have been engaged in a contract dispute with the manufacturer, ISSC Gambels, since August 6, 2011. Unfortunately, until the dispute is resolved we cannot respond to requests for service or warranty work. We will keep your request on file and as soon as the dispute is resolved we will try to respond to your request.

Glad I didn't send in my pistol for warranty work when they told me too. Just fixed it myself.

Received the same Email as well.
the MK22 I bought stovepiped and failed to feed.
changed to Winchester Dynapoint GT 40 grain and the problems disappeared.
Hopefully it stays that way...
