Looking at the I run guns website they have a few models of MK22, the colours aside I can't figure out what the differences between the $299 model and the others if there is any. I was just in a shop yesterday and they wanted $589 CDN (tan), after shipping, exchange rate and duty the one from I run guns would still be a few hundred cheaper. Could someone shed some light on what the differences are? Thanks!

there is no difference. i would go for the cheaper one.
The other problem is, on the site they used the prototype pictures for some models.
which looks like an actual scar. not the bastardized version FN forced them to make that is really quite different in almost every way.
kind of misleading if you ask me.
actually totally misleading and im kinda pissed. because i expected it to look like the picture on the site.
but whatever i already bought it.

id assume the cheaper ones are old stock and the higher priced ones are new stock.
with the dollar down $0.30 on the dollar your $300 gun will now run you $400 which might explain the price differences your seeing.

irg's listed it last month on the forums, I just ordered one and with exchange and $25 us shipping it's come to $441 CDN they said I have to pay GST so maybe a total of $463 CDN, would be nice, roughly works out to $200 saved vs my local shop.

Hi All, just wondering if anyone can tell me about the barrels based on this product code:

M211000

Most of the reviews I've read on this rifle say that the barrel is actually comprised of two parts, an inner and an outer and I've seen pictures of this, however many of these reviews are at least a few years old.

I've recently read on advertisements for this rifle (same product code) that this thing comes with a Lothar Walther Match barrel:

ww w.grabagun.com/issc-austrian-sporting-m211000-mk22-rfl-22lr-16-22r.html

I understand that there maybe variances between Canadian and US models, but they are the same product number. This used listing cites the 1/2 x 28 threaded barrel:

ww w.gunlistings.org/tennessee-gun-classifieds/chattanooga/all/99810/issc_mk22

Can anyone shed some light on this? Does the most current stock in Canada come with these match barrels with the 1/2 x 28 threaded flash hider? The product number is the same, but I haven't come across a Canadian dealer that describes the Walther Barrel or if its threaded for 1/2 x 28.
