Hi,
I recently purchased an ISSC MK22, it was used with no manual and I haven't been able to find one online.
Looking at the GSG 15 manual (which should be identical in function), I should be able to lock the ejection port open by inserting an empty mag and operating the charging handle. I've done this numerous times and it won't stay locked open. The magazine safety slide / spring in the mag well is freely moving back and forth when I move it manually.
As my first firearm, I'm concerned for 2 reasons, I would consider it good safety practice to leave it empty with a visibly open action at the range, and I would like to know its functioning 100%.
Any guidance on what could be causing the issue? Its a 2nd Gen MK22 if it makes any difference.
Regards,
Adam
