hello fellow gun nutters thinking of purchasing a issc mk22 and looking for info good bad or ugly anything will help my decision thanks for your time.

while I have never owned one, the first one's were problem prone...but my understanding is that anything manufactured 2013 and later is a-ok and good to go.

if you want to look at something with a bit more pedigree, there is another version of this branded under the name Anschutz. they're almost identical, but alas, I forget what the differences are...

Go to FN Fourms (us site ) .. go to the SCAR16 section .. look for the mk22 thread .. start reading after say page 50.

There was a lot of lite primer strikes in the units first days .. factory fix cured this, but like every unit each owner/poster has personal likes or dislikes ..

I really like mine .. fits and feels just right .. I replaced the main screws with HK pins, bought the replacement screw kit for the bolt group, ( never installed them ) used the factory fix and all is good. Some people do not like the various screw types and metal types used in the units construction. BCG ( bolt control group ) cage is one example .. You will need a few new screwdrivers.

Posts are posts .. but this is the best thread for info .. lot of stuff to skip over but much info. Pin and screw package info is before page 50 ( may be in the 30's ) so just type in HK small pin and screw package mk22 in google .. should take you to info, if not PM me

I love mine, dont have any problems with it after I put in the factory fix. Its a fun gun to shoot and surprisingly accurate.
