hypothetical situation? mk22 waiting for frt, fn scar waiting for frt, scar gets restricted status 1st' mk22 gets restricted status due to variant rule!!!

p.s. anyone any info if there's even an mk22 in the rcmp hands at all.

Scar will get restricted status due to barrel length (<18.5"). As long as the Mk22 is over 26" with the stock folded, it will be non-restricted.

Do any of us have that measurement from the manufacturer yet? Would suck waiting with fingers crossed if it is under 26" and has no chance of being non-restricted.

That 33.74" length is only with the stock collapsed, not folded, right?
Folded would make it considerable shorter?

As mentioned before, the ISSC MK22 can be only two things, non-restricted or prohibited.

There is no variant status, as the SCAR is not named in an OIC. Being a variant of the SCAR won't mean two ####s.
