Hey guys, dropped my MK22 on my hardwood floor by accident and I was surprised to see the lever snap right off the gun. It broke off like a piece of clay. Anyone know where I can buy a replacement lever? (part 65) The gun was bought a few months ago, so it's still under warranty. I also chipped a lot of the black paint on the gun. Ordered a flat black paint pen and a bottle of blue paint to see if it will cover up the exposed metal. Still love the gun, but damn it's a headache to look after. Even after changing the bolts and loctiting, I still get 1/10 failures mostly coming from the magazine not feeding the bullet. aarrrgh.

Any help would be appreciated.

Tks

Why I've stayed away from these guns, Mossberg tactical, etc... look cool but feel flimsy. Rather have a bolt action made of wood and steel that's going to last a few hundred years.

When we started using red dots and the like on guns .. any uncontrolled decent to terrain would be costly, so manufactures spoofed up the exteriors .. If you can't drop it to protect the sights .. then they could take a bit of durability out of the equation .. no more tossing .. But now placing ..

The day of the bolt action for a plinking 22 may have reached it's peak .. If there was no great market for this type of gun .. then even ruger would not be coming out with tactical models ..

I have a savage Stevens 22/410 in my day it's plastic stock was considered strange , but it weighed a ton compared to 22's of the day .. Yes it will last 100 years .. But so boring !

The charging handle on the mk22 does not screw in or on so it is not as durable as steal

All is not lost budfox .. I an sure you can get a replacement ..

I have and have had many bolt action 22's , have a pre 64 model 70 , but next Tuesday the mailman has a new mk22 in his bag for me ..
