ISSC Straight Pull Action rifle?

Nobody seems to. MSRP will run from $489 – $699 depending on model, and will be chambered in .22 LR, .22 WMR and .17 HMR. The Firearm Blog has some very basic info posted.

Looks interesting. Could be another fun addition to my rimfire family
I love the shape of the wood stock, looks awesome for offhand shooting.
If they truely do come with a quality barrel and if the trigger weight can be lowered than I think they could make a decent starter silhouette rifle. Of course you would need to find a shorter mag and release to allow a good support hand position.

I kind of like it, and the vid was my first introduction to this kind of action... It doesn't seem "straight-pull" as I know them (Schmidt n' Ross), but more like a hasp on a guitar case... Obviously a touch more robust, and a neat means of cycling/locking. Gonna be some reading for camster tonight!

Straight pull is a bit of a misnomer in this situation. That gun is nothing like a Fortner action, which could be more accurately equated to a quick connect are hose fitting. This ISSC action is in fact a Toggle action, and is most similar to a Luger or the Izhmash biathlon rifles.
