Hey guys, i did not know where to post this so i guess the newbie section can't be a bad start. I have passed the pal/rpal course/exam before christmas. Results are not even in yet, but that's a whole different discussion. I want to get your opinions on issf, i have recently starting taking interest into this.
I am 28 y.o., and starting to learn how to shoot pistols. I plan on going out once a week to the range on issf practice nights. For now, i got to shoot the club .22s, but when rpal comes in, i will buy myself a ''fun gun'' that i could learn the basics with. I would be interested in 9mm issf. So here are my questions.
*At 28 am i too late to get in the sport to compete 9mm issf ? (don't get me wrong i do not see myself in the very high end level, i'm just competetive by nature and would like to try it out here and there)
*Is there any material i could find online for 9mm issf events?
*I am looking at an HK usp expert 9mm as my 1st fun gun / getting into lower end issf pistol. Is it a bad choice? I know there are these real good issf ones out there in the 2500-3000$ range, but i have about 1200$ for pistol to get into the sport. So i wish to have a fun gun that can double as a starter gun for issf.
