Hi everyone .
I send my rifle for install my new barrel & chamber it in .45-100 sharps .
i receive it now , and i try some brand new brass from starlin in and they not enter the chamber completely , someother have to be forced to enter in .
I know i can fire .45-70 gov in too , i try factory ammo Remington, hornady , winchester and they not enter in . I try to resize my brass like the gunsmith make the job tell me to do .
And with 2 different set of die they not enter in . The Gunsmith tell me they reload a couple ammo and try in and work , but i have the same die brand and nothing .
I find in Cartridges of the world the size of the brass .45-100 sharps and the chamber same to be .040" to .050" more thigh than the brass .
do you know a way to fix that . the Gunsmith tell me is not is mistake but mine , but i send brand new .45-100 sharps ammo box + empty cases .
because the gunsmith close to my home telling me to alway send empty brass to measure and know the correct size for the chamber .
The gunsmith make the job not use the empty brass , he take a reamer used 2 or 3 time before .
someone tell me the reamer can be too used and not making chamber correctly .
