Alright, I'll admit this is me being a total noob to reloading however, I've set everything up and run countless test runs. Ready to get loading.

I've bought myself a Dillon xl650 and currently the rig is set up for 9mm - dies are set - powder is measured and waiting, the only thing I need to sort out now is the freaking primer pick up tube... I know right, you're probably thinking .. hmmm maybe reloading isn't for you. hahaha.

Here's the thing. I'm using CCI 500 sp primers - the pick up tube is the small primer tube (Yellow one end -blue, the other) - the rig is set up with the small primer feed. Every time I attempt to let the primers out of the pick up tube, they seem to jam in the blue tip.. One will tip sideways and cause a jam. This has also resulted in primers dropping into the primer magazine flipped the wrong way.

Any thoughts?

Cheers,

Josh

Check the inside of the blue plastic tip. It's possible it's not quite round or has an excess of plastic on the inside.

That happened to me with one of the large primer ends and I had to ream out the inside so the primers would drop through.

Make sure that the tip is all the way on the end of the tube. Any gap will give the primers room to tip.

this was my issue also... In addition there was some old primer residue or other debris inside one tube... blasted it with brake cleaner and compressed air then pushed a patch through it. Works great now.

Buy a few extras as well.

And I'd buy one of these makes all the difference:
