I just got this VX Freedom 3-9x33 EFR from a CGN member and I think the adjustable objective may be buggered.

The range marks go down to 10m, but this is where it stops on the low end.

Spinning the objective the other way, there is an immediate dead spot where the tension/friction disappears, then comes back at 50m. Keep spinning and it goes up to 100, 200, 400, infinity, and goes back past 10, 25, 50, 100, 200, 400, infinity, and stops at 10m.

Has anyone had this issue with this scope?

Don't even waste time/money/effort to find out what's excatly wrong with it. Send it back to the seller at his own cost for refund or send it for "repairs". Lots of Leupold scimmers around lately... lol

This is kind of where I'm at.

When I contacted him about it after, he said that "it's been like that since he got it, but it works great." Uhhh...Okay? If I was the seller, I wouldn't even consider advertising this item without disclosing these issues. I'm pretty choked.

Tell him you want a refund or you will leave negative feedback, dont buy into his B.S line that its been like that since new.. That should have been disclosed. On a positive note Leupold has warranty that will cover that.

Optic has been sent back and refund received. No negative feedback will be left, as the seller was cooperative and understanding.

I sure don't understand folks on here.
The cost of return verses sending it to Korth is pennies apart.

I get the pmo regard when buying something that isn't 100% when led to
believe so.

Me?
Heck, if the scope was a decent deal I'd of asked for the seller to at least pony up
for the shipping to Korth.

Such is life.
