Issues Mounting Caldwell Bipod to CZ 452

I purchased a Caldwell XLA 6"-9" Pivot Bipod with Leg Notches and am having issues mounting it to my CZ 452 Ultra Lux. When I mount the bipod to the swivel stud I can't seem to tighten it down as the hole in the bipod base plate seems to be too big.

So, I'm thinking a few things are possible. Either the bipod I purchased is missing parts, or the swivel stud on the rifle is narrower than swivel studs on other rifles. Or, I'm just doing it wrong.

I may just end up buying a Harris, but I'd like to know if there is anything I can do to salvage the bipod I currently have in my possession.

And, if you decide to respond with "Caldwell sucks, buy a Harris", please let me know why you feel that's what I should do.

Thanks.

Photos (clear, well-lit) would go a long way to helping you trouble-shoot the problem. Post some and we'll have a look! Caldwells wouldn't suck if Harris' didn't exist...but since they do, I can honestly say (from experience) that they're not as good. A little rickety, looser tolerances, uglier/glossier finish. They are totally serviceable, and will last a long time on a light rifle, but I paid $59 for my Caldwell years ago thinking I couldn't afford a Harris. A couple of months later, I was in Le Baron (IN Mississauga) during their no tax event and they had non-swiveling Harris bipods 9"-13" for $75 out the door. Since then, I've bought 2 other Harris bipods and have decided that their swiveling bipod is worth a few extra $. Think I paid $135 for it, but I won't go back to non-swiveling for hunting. Of a bench, it's fine.

Thanks for the reply. I figured out my issue. It turns out the width of the front swivel stud on the CZ rifle is almost half that of a "standard" swivel stud. I replaced the stud and was able to mount the bipod without issue.
