Has anyone had any issues with Grey Birch Solutions and Ruger mags?

Currently on this new build I have the following:
- GBS barrel
- GBS Receiver
- Dlask bolt assembly
- Ruger 10/22 BX trigger
- Extended mag release
- Magpul Hunter 10/22 stock

I recently purchased 3 new mags for this build and when I insert the mag I have to give it a nudge towards the trigger because it doesn't sit properly in order to be released.

Has anyone had issues like that?

Thanks for your help

I would contact them directly. Its probably something minor but you could try borrowing another mag from a buddy or someone at your club/range to see if its just a bad batch of mags, Probably not but an easy piece of the puzzle to eliminate. I have built more than a dozen with Dlask receivers and havent had one problem and theyre also canadian. Pretty sure youll be taken care of by GB though.

Awesome thanks for the info, I thought of that but figure maybe there's an easy fix. I have some old Ruger Mags and they don't seem to have that problem. I used the new ones with my old 10/22 and they work perfectly, issue here is that I wanted to have more mags for less reloading and now i'm back to square one. I'll reach out to GBS thanks for the input.

Check to see if the issue is a rub on the stock.

I did a cheap and dirty fix on a $3 10/22 stock with a wood rasp, when I had a similar issue. I would suggest that you take a really good look at figuring out the exact issue before making irreversible changes!

Whoa!! Yeah definitely not yet at that point, still trying to figure out the issue. It’s almost as if the receiver is a hit larger. But not 10% sure. I’ll be reaching out to GBS and see if there’s an easy fix.
