Kolar sells it, so if you are going to any big shoots in the US, you can check with them and see if they will be there or not.
Here is a link to their web site ... http://www.cmdlubeoil.com/ You can contact them and see if they have a distributor near you. A friend near me has a case, so I can get it from him.
Nothing in Canada then?
Red and Tacky #2 is very good for keeping choke tubes seated particularly those like the Beretta Optima and Benelli chokes that have a tendency to back out when fired. The newer Optima HP chokes are much better for staying seated. The Lucas product is much less expensive and easier to get than the Briley choke tube grease.I just use Lucas Oil Red 'N' Tacky #2 grease. I think it was $8 for a big tube at Canadian Tire.
There's been a long and ongoing debate between oil vs. grease among Perazzi owners. Those in favour of oil say it doesn't attract debris. Those in favour of grease say it stays put and doesn't risk migrating into the wood. I've used both at various times and don't think it matters as long as you clean both off after you put the gun away.I prefer a few drops of oil to grease. I don't know what the "wonder" oil was Vic Tomlinson sent me back after servicing and changing the locking block on my Perazzi but I applied it very sparingly as he indicated and it sure spreads and lubricates nicely. Gun feels slick and smooth opening and closing. He put the stuff in two small squeeze drops top style bottles and would not say what it was. Must be a closely guarded secret?
But it sure does work well !!
