So I came home today to a nice surprise, my Israel Arms Commander came in from Armco today. 2 days early!!

It feels very nice, the trigger is smooth, slide is tight, it's sweet! I love Commanders!!

Ditto I just got mine in the mail as well. I have to say it is way smoother compared to the Norc 1911A1-G I had. When I strip the Commander all the ruff bits were rounded out. Big smiles here.

It was 595$ +tax at Armco. I don't know if they have any left but it is definitely worth giving him a call and checking.

I had a regular Norc Commander ordered from ARMCO, but luckily saw this model in time to make the swap. It is prettier, but I heard the insides were much smoother, and the metal harder.

I am having an aluminum trigger installed to match the hard chrome.

I think this is a better value than the 'regular' Norc as it is sweet in and out, and pretty to boot.
