guys,

while some are thinking about their next trip to africa, here im thinking about next spring bear season.

and specifically on bullet selection.

dont know yet if it will be the 9.3x62 or the 375 ruger but bullet selection is the word.

will it be partition, accubond, matrix just let me know your thoughts and make it enjoyable during that cabin fever.

Phil.

In 375, I've killed bears with 260NAB, 250 TTSX, 270 TSX, 270 Interlock, 300gr Hornady RN, 300gr Partition. They all worked pretty good. :)

I hope to try a 350 Woodleigh on a grizzly if I get a draw this year.

Never tried a Matrix bullet, sorry.

Wow! I didn't realize that the .375 RUG had that much case capacity! Six bullets crammed into a case... kinda like buckshot... what kind of pattern do you get?

I took two bears last spring with the 375ruger and 300g sierra SBT.
I am working up some stuff with 250g TTSX and 260g accubonds.

the sierras worked great. But it's all about playing with diffrent stuff.

I shot my last grizzly with my 375RUM loaded with 300gr Partitions shot my last black bear with my 375JDJ loaded with 260gr Accubonds.

Was planning on going after black bear this spring going to use my 14" barreled single shot T/C Contender carbines in 375JDJ & 45-70 but now I'm also planning on using my 375RUM again but this time not going to use a scope going to use my XS Sights tall Weaver ghost ring backup sights and loaded with 350gr TSX and/or Woodleighs @ 2450fps.
