So I visit my LGS and happen upon this sympathetically de-activated (with RCMP dewat paperwork... shudder!) #### and click Beretta 1934. Although I'm old enough, I somehow stupidly missed the 12(6) and 12(7) bandwagons, so can't buy these "live".

I would never buy a live one and be the guy to dewat one of these, unless I somehow outlive the great majority of 12(6) guys, but as it was already done and a good price, I bought the damn thing as a legal wallhanger I don't need to lock up. Should be a good photo prop with my carcano rifles.

Regrettably, this one is not WW2 dated, it's a post-war (1956) production gun that looks (to me anyway) to likely have served with a police or military force somewhere. It's got too much carry and use wear to to have been a civilian-purchase gun (in my opinion).

So here it is in all its glory. While I'm glad to have it, it does make my pee pee soft for not being able to own one live. Oh well. Decent companion piece to my live Italian police Mod1951 (pictured below it).

The Italian 1934/1935 pistols are solid, well made guns.
I have a later Beretta in .22LR. Also compact, but remarkably accurate.

I owned one of those back in the '70s and I stupidly sold it back in the later '70s. Been kicking myself ever since!

I have 4 total, 2 1935s and 2 1934s. One set are Finnish the other set are Romanian. They're all quite nice to shoot. I prefer the 32s over the 380s. The most comfortable 380 to shoot imho is the vz.24.

Well Mr. Bond that Beretta 1934 is adorable. Your garter should hold it nicely.

Robinson Sporting Goods in Victoria had about 40 32/380 guns with holsters, extra magazines etc in about 1976 from a Italian police department, all were by/mint
