Are they inertia triggers or mechanical?
Not sure. Had the stock off and cleaned with brake cleaner, there is a lot of small parts and little springs, thus the search for a gunsmith. It acts like an inertia trigger in reverse. IE will drop the hammers one after the other on snap caps but not on live ammo.

I have a 1960 Franchi Aristocrat O/U. it has issues. If I switch barrels with the safety moved to fire, it will fire both barrels. Lately it will fire the first barrel and if I jerk my finger off the trigger it will set and shoot the second barrel. Sometimes it works fine. It has mechanical triggers so it should fire both without recoil.
The gun was bought off my deceased brother so I keep it for sentimental value, in the safe, unfortunately.
Italian food is awful. ...
Oooh, that kind of trigger.. my bad
