The Ithaca Mag-10 "Road Blocker" was designed by Ithaca for the law enforcement market and became available from 1978 until 1986 based on the Ithaca mag10 sporting shotgun

I live a few Km from the old Ithaca plant but I haven't seen that one . I have a SP10 with a slug barrel and rifle sights close but no cigar. My big mistake was to sell a 2o gauge 37 Supreme gauge with a 24" imp barrel wood to die for .Sold it for $150 Woodcock hated that gun.

Yes sir slug barrel is also rare. I have an old mag10 also that I had briley put tubes in some years ago in a factory 30" barrel
Cheers

I fired a friends, years ago in a pit... way back when i was a teen
Ive looked for one for years and gave up all hope..... they are sweeeeeeeet !

The 10 doesn't get a lot of love but if you have used and worked with one you learn to appreciate what they are capable of in the field .

The 10ga got my heart around 1980 when I shared a blind with two retired RCMP officers goose hunting who were shooting remington sp-10's they took back from western canada with them . After about 1 hour I said I am getting one of those beasts and the rest is history
Cheers

Yep... was up in sudbury
Person that owned it was into gunsmithing..
Ive wanted one ever since.. it was a very nice firearm
From what i remember.. recoil was not bad at all and after shooting it, i had the need to own one !

You know what I am talking about The 3 1/2 12 is good but not in the same league as the 10 . Pass shooting it has no equal and over decoys you don't get the cripples. The only thing I loved more was my now passed yellow Labrador Maggie she also was 10 gauge fan and a lot smarter than me.

I have an old mag10 and was wondering about cutting the barrel (by a gunsmith) but some people told me it can be tricky has cannot be sure it will continue to cycle after the first shot. Loosing pressure.

Yes sir. I own both 12ga 3 1/2 and 10ga and agree with you 100%
Cheers

I've been watching for one for years and never come across one. If I ever do I will grab it fast!! There is a good article in a 1980 or 81 shotgun digest on them. It states that in testing it was able to penetrate the engine compartment of a moving vehicle and stop it with a load of 3 1/2" #4 buckshot(54 pellets). I have the book here somewhere. I'll post a pic if I can remember which box it's packed in?

I found one once but the guy wanted 2 grand for it so i passed.
I currently own two 10s. A sxs with 32" barrels anda jap built browning stalker pump

Cant speak for #4 buck but both barrels of 00buck caves in a quarter panel. Didnt hurt the engine. Used a 10ga to make a hole in my buddies hood for a snorkel once. 2 shots made a big enough hole

i happen to have one. a heavy gun and holds three rounds. as for recoil it has less recoil than any twelve gauge. the finish is what i would call phosphate on the metal and the wood is rather plain. the barrel has a bead and no choke.it has a distinctive sound when fired .i have fired all manner of shells from geese loads ,buckshot and slugs.any information on these guns i would be interested in hearing . thanks

Cool. The first owner I have ever spoke to. I am guessing since you are in Ontario again so either the police force there had some at one time or by some fluke we are talking about the same gun
The one I seen was at Epps did you buy yours there by any chance
Cheers

Good morning to you also. You have a real cool gun there IMO
Man I sure missed that one and I am normally a daily EE checker
Oh well. Took me 40 years to find a 760 pump in 223 but did so maybe before I die :). Not something I really need just think they are real cool
Take care
