I was cleaning out my boxes of odds n ends and found this bad boy. It came from, I believe, an Ithaca XK10 Lightning. I remember... almost thirty years ago, buying the rifle, used, at Hoyt's in downtown LA... that's Lethbridge, Alberta, folks...
I owned the rifle for a few years and took it out to a massive ranch owned by the LDS Church and layed waste to uncountable ground squirrels. Three bricks worth. Toward the end of the second day, and without cleaning my 10 shot semiautomatic stick of gopher death, I had a double feed and when that happened the bolt evaporated into a thousand hot shards and the chamber had a thumb sized gouge in it.
I took the scope and stock off of it and kept the magazine.
What's this mag worth, fellas...?
