Continuing the saga of this rifle< i took the bolt apart to clean. It's just a couple clockwise turns of the bolt shroud and the firing pin mechanism comes out.
Cleaned out all the gunk. Problem is, I cannot get it to go back together.

Supposedly with the tab and slot lined up it should depress back into place, then turn the handle.
I dont think they are lined up and I cant figure out how to get them lined up.

Please see pictures. Help is appreciated. Thanks all. - Pics posted shortly....

First of all- thank you- to the people who responded and contacted me.
I had previously found that article but didn’t understand what the person was doing.

After looking at the jig, I had a better understanding of the issue.

Anyway, SUCCESS again!!!

I made a similar jig from hard maple, put the firing pin assembly in upside down (pin pointing up)
Put the bolt body over top, pushed down hard, which let the cocking tab fall into the slot in the hardwood, gave it half a turn and it was in!!!!
