Ithaca Mag-10 question?

Any help here guys would be great.I got a good deal on a NIB Ithaca Mag-10 with a slug barrel,and wondering if a Rem SP-10 barrel will fit it.I know that Rem bought the pattent for the Ithica Mag-10,and built the SP-10 off of it,but I dont know if they are built to the same specs.I would hate to buy it,and find out the barrels won't swap.
 
i got a sp-10 and my buddy has a mag 10. we tried switching barrels one time to see if it would work and it did.
