lol. um... maybe you didn't see my sentence above the pics...;)
i just want to know who else has one of these somewhat rare? .22LR's. and if so, how have they been.

as for mine, thx; it's still kept in the original box. and yes, i love it. it belonged to my dad, and he probably hasn't even fired it. and NO, it's not for sale, sorry.

well, given that's the condition is excellent, i still have the original box, and it probably has only had a handful of rounds through it... i love it. so u have one?

i also have a nice Mossy 352k .22 LR which is great too. but it's semi-auto. (that's the original sling ;))

Yep, I've got one of those. (Saddlegun, not the Mossy) Smooth as silk, shoots great after a recrown and the wood's got some nice figure in spots too.

I've had one for over thirty years. Bought it new from Simpson's when I worked there as a kid. Shoots well, and absolutely the smoothest, slickest lever action I've ever handled, and that was true even before the untold thousands of rounds it has had through it. I have never had a problem of any kind that wasn't correctable by giving it a good cleaning. I love it and would never sell it. I only wish mine still looked as good as yours.

And, yes, you do see them up for sale from time to time, usually for less than $300. But so what? Yours is not only rare, it's one-of-a-kind....the one that your dad owned. Keep it forever.:)

John

wow.thanks John... i'll never sell it, even if i wanted to, he'd have my head one day.

another question. How do you lock the darn thing?? a cable lock won't fit through the action, and obviously i can't trigger lock it!
