I just got off the phone with the guys at Ithaca. We will have some coming in June(early July at the latest). Please post here if you've actually handled one of the new guns (or shot them). Love to hear what you think. My impression is that they are built like no other current pump.
Also, if you'd like a price, please PM me-we just got our pricelists and can finally get quotes out. I'll start a list today of any orders. We'll be able to take orders throughtout May and have them on the shipment.

Ithaca's are sweet shotguns! I own a vintage M37, but sadly don't get to shoot it much as putting steel load through it will damage the barrel (fixed F choke). Love the bottom eject. Never have to worry about fishing the empties out of the lake, they all end up in the bottom of the boat/blind :D.

I love my 12 gage Ithica m37 featherlight I love the gun! Its a real doosy for first time shooters thought it broke my heart when my friend managed to jam it twice in less than than 45mins. He had 1 catridge in the chamber and then another one trying to go in the chamber, its like he some how manged to make it double pump with out ejecting the first shell or who the hell knows what he did!! man I was angery spent 15 mins every time carefully trying to take it out cause I baby that thing! I have never seen a jam before like that in a shotgun let alone twice in one sitting. I showed him over and over how to load it etc but some people dont f*ckn understand! I know there will never be a jam like that again cause he can go shoot my mossberg the Ithica stays with me! What I really would like to get is a nice Ithica 10 gage Im just full of piss n vingar!

I have shot model 37 all my life and my father before that. They are a great gun but are subject to "short stroking" problem. I also find they sometimes jam the empty and are hard to eject, especially using cheap shells. Hopefully the new model will correct these problems.

short storking eh I just had no idea how the hell he got 2 loaded cartridges in the chamber (one seated in the chamber the other attached to the cocking mechanism still ramming the back of the seated chamber cartridge) I hope I explained that well enough haha. It was very upsetting I just was in shock, for one its my baby for two its my baby! I have always had the impression that Ithica was for lack of a better word classy firearm. I dont understand I have seen them on the EE for 250--400$ which just makes me cringe and wish I could of bought them up. The pictures of the Ithicas were in such great condition it was beautiful! Am I mis under stood here or are these fellas just un-aware of how nice of a firearm Ithica really is , Cause I think its classy as hell!

I took mine to a gunsmith and he turned it into a modified choke for steel shot. No big deal.
