Hello CGNutters, I like to read you and I especially like when your post are more than just a question asked to the community, when you share a part of your life with us and finally refer to your main question. So I'll try to make it interesting as some of you are able to do it really well.

Being 28 years old man who was raised in an isolated house surrounded by nature and wilderness...I've never complained about it, I was always outside trying to learn and understand my environment as well as I could with my brother, spending time with my grandfather who was teaching me the roots of nature. At the age of 10 started to have a real interest for SXS and for bird hunting, rabbits, fishing, especially fly fishing, I just loves being outdoor in the wilderness, learning about survival...Well, that's still my hobby today and how I mainly entertain myself. Every day, any weather, any situation, for me, it's a new challenge.

My model 100 Ithaca Skb 12g 30" barrels, had it chambered 3" especially for taking down ducks. It proved to be a killing machine! Really love the gun, it's light and live, quick aiming! Well, I'm in love with this gun, when I remember some geese that I took down with it, I'm shivering and gathering strong emotions!

My model 200e, same design, a bit more fancier, 12 gauge, 26" barrels. Wow, what a gun! At first I was hunting grouse with my M-100...But 30" barrels in the bush, not the best setup...I then started looking for a gun with the same specs as my M-100 but with a shorter barrel. Then I came across this beauty! It's all about the perfect grouse gun you could ever find.

As I wrote before, I'm in love with my Ithaca SKB's, they are extremely well built shotguns and the best I hunted with. The best thing I did was to sell my BSS 12 ga and 20ga *I had a very good price compared to what I paid for...Then buying those two SKB made me enjoy shooting a lot more.

My long walks in the wild hunting down rabbits and grouses are really easy compared to when I had the beautiful but heavy Browning BSS.

So here it goes

I recently had a look at my SkB's and was worried about a few cracks in the wood (stock and forend) that I had glued in the past years...then I tought I should get myself a new set of stocks and forend for my boomsticks...

My problem : THEY ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND. ANYWHERE.

My question : Do you know where I could find replacement wood for my shotguns? The last thing I'd like to do is to part with them and return to another classic SXS...

What do you have to say?
