Hey there,
I have a couple of questions regarding making a new stock and corn-cob pump handle.
I plan on using a Douglas Fir Burl-wood which I am acclimatizing now, Wondering if anyone would shy away from using this material for a gun.
It is only a 2 3/4 12 gauge and I plan on having some decorative engraving done on the action as well. It is a bottom fed/ejecting pump and is in great shape.
The burl is awesome looking, picture swirling red and yellow grain with a golden finish.
Thanks in advance for advice. !
