I have a Berreta Ducks Unlimited semi auto 12 ga that has fired 3 shells........28" vent rib dual bead barrel, interchangeable chokes, like new in box, not a mark. High grade wood and gold inlayed hunter and dog on the side of the receiver. The follower is jeweled and the whole gun is quite outstanding, but I am not a shotgunner and have no idea what it's worth. I do know that the "I just gotta have that gun" has worn off and I would like to move it out of my vault.
I'll try to post some photos tomorrow...........any help would be appreciated. Not a scammer, check out my trader rating, just not up on current shotgun values.

Wish I knew more about Beretta shotguns period. I'd probably never use one outside of a couple rounds of clays as the conditions I use my mossberg in up here, would ruin a nice italian job. I sure dont mind owning purdy guns even if I wouldnt really use it............

Sounds like a 390 series. I bought one like yours recently off a noted CGN member, in VG condition for ~ 800$. The DU variation does not appreciably add to value...

Beretta made several of their semi-automatic shotgun models into Ducks Unlimited "Dinner Guns." IIRC, the 303, 390, 391, 3901 and A400. What your gun is worth depends largely on which model it is. Being a DU gun does not bring a premium over a standard model in the same condition and can actually make the gun harder to sell.

Being a DU gun adds no value what ever is paid for it at action over and above the list price of the gun is a donation being a used beretta the value would be about 30% less than new selling price .

I don't reload shotshells 'Looky so all is well with the gun.........I think I hit 2 clays out of 3 with it.

It is a Berretta Model A390 ST. I may not know much about shotguns, but I do know quality firearms when I see and feel them and this is not an $800 gun..........The wood alone would cost more than that, not to mention the gold inlay.

I just copy/pasted your bit of info and did a Gewgle search.
One link I looked at.

That'd the problem with dinner guns. They don't appreciate in value. And what you paid at the dinner is far more than what they are worth. You will never get your money back out of a dinner gun.

The nearest comparison gun for pricing would be the 390ST Gold Mallard which came with gold inlay and higher-grade wood.

Here's a DU version from the U.S. Does yours look like this one?

DU guns are generally worth "LESS" than the same gun in a non-DU version... most owners don't want all that goofy DU crap on the gun... just google A390 and see what they are going for.

I do know that I bought a A391 with a $600 Cole's stock upgrade for $1200...

Well - If you Google images for a Beretta 390 Ducks Unlimited, it becomes clear that there were a lot of cosmetic variations. Armslist has ones ranging from 675$ to 1100$. Of course, we don't know what they really sold for. Put it on the EE for 1500$, you wont be any worse off than the many of the listings. Who knows, maybe someone actually collects the DU guns...

$1,500 would be my starting point too. Take the first $1,200 that walks through the door.

FWIW, there's an unfired Beretta 390 470th Anniversary that is on the EE with an asking price of $2,000. It's a far rarer gun than the equivalent DU model and it has been there since July.

I agree with Hoyt and VictoryXC....and Im not just saying that because they have to put up me for the next 4 days....

However....if a DU Franchi 48 shows up on the EE...all bets are off from my standpoint. So I guess what Cosmic said is true...maybe it will have value to a collector. But to a shooter and a blue book, it will be worth the same or less then a standard production gun
