I have finally finished my AR15!!!! Only took a year! Have a case of .223 from can am happily waiting a range day. It's a mix of Daniel defense and spikes.

Now. I have a tavor sling for it......after trying it I Found that I cannot shoulder the rifle properly with this sling. It isn't long enough. I am 6'5. Any other tall guys out there have an ar sling that they would recommend? I am looking at the VCAS. Just curious if it would be long enough.

i cannot wait to shoot it! I havent been this happy since...well....a very special time back in high school.......:D

I want to make sure that the Vickers will be able to accomodate my height

I'm sure the bfg Vickers sling will be long enough. There is tons of adjustment.

You could also switch your mounting points as you find out what works for you.

I have heard tales of heroes of bygone ages who have taken two slings and combined them to make a supersling. That might fit a half giant like you.

Vickers BFG sling all the way, Farmboy can hook you up.

He's only just finished his build. Don't you think it's too soon for such an epic piece of equipment?!?!?! :D

OP, we're talking about combining the Magpul MS3, and BFG to create 1 awesome adjustable single/double point sling.

Pretty gun, good job! Is this your first AR? I just made the plunge myself, I was contemplating building one but I found a good deal on a factory rifle and made the move. Its exciting to hear it go bang for the first time, waiting on the range report.

First AR, First building of any sort, learned ALOT!!! had to get the barrel drilled as i am not that mechanically inclined. I just ordered the padded VCAS from one shot. Man I love those guys in Trenton

Congratulations! She's been a while in the making, but looks great. Good turnaround time on the barrel drilling....you sound like a proud parent, lol! Curious to hear how the TRS-25 co-witness works out for you, tough, compact RDS with lots of $$ left over for ammo:).

I finally shot it today!! Shoots really well, only shot to 100m though so I could sight it in, which was successful. Cant wait to get it out at the Black Gun event in Quebec in 2 weeks, I LOVE IT!!!
