It's almost here!

Waterfowl season opens one week from today! I've been sorting through the deeks (Canada, ducks, snows) and getting the gear ready. Went out last night and did some scouting and there are tons of ducks and already a few Canada geese starting to flock up. Won't be able to get out until the long weekend but if I can figure out how to post pics I will hopefully have some good ones to share. Hope all of you waterfowlers have a great season.

I can't get excited about waterfowling this early. Too hot, too many pinfeathers and too many bugs. Once we start getting some frosts I'll get into it more.

I'm in southern Ontario...our early goose season doesnt start until Sept 8th, and ducks dont open til Sept 24th.

I am beyond anxious...I have been ready for them all summer.

I am just North of 60 and we are hunting geese already as they are on their way South from here. As a matter of fact I can hear some geese outside right now

My brother got married on opening day. They all thought I was kidding when I said I was going hunting. I was only a hour and half late but I got 6 bluebills. We all had duck calls to make them kiss
