well I have finally got her finished and in my hands,
-stiller predator short action
-rifle basix varmint trigger
-holland lug
-manners t3 stock
-m5 dbm
-accurate mag 4 and 7 shot magazines
-stainless pillars\devcon bedded up to the lug
-gaillard 1-10 twist 26'' varmint barrel
-shilen 1-13 twist 29'' varmint barrel
- chambered i n 300 wsm

first of all l know there are dozens of calibers better(and worse) than 300 wsm, but its what l wanted and what l love,(ive got 4). lt is a happy medium between the 308 and all the 30 cal ''super mags'', just shy of he 300 mag over 180 gr bullets and arguably superior for everything lighter. either way, the chamber has been bored, and l decided to go with 2 barrels to shoot every 30 cal bullet l can find.

l can appreciate all guns, small, big, old, new, classic, modern- whatever. hopefully l can take her for a truck ride on sunday and post some pics of her and what she can do on monday, in the mean time we need to start a ''gun ####'' post. Just a few candid snapshots and a brief description of your baby, field shots and maybe even a few pics of what you can get it to shoot, along with load data and whatever tricks youve figured out to make it special.

hope this works, i know i should have a better scope on this rifle, but for now ittl do. Took it out sunday morning and shot it. its got the 1=13'' barrel on it right now. 150 a-max and e-tips, 5-5 shot groups and was VERY pleased, all 5 groups less than an inch left to right and less than 5/8'' top to bottom. Should make a beauty coyote rig this feb-march.

On your Photobucket page, put your mouse on the little cog-wheel in the top right corner of a pic, then click on "Share". Then get the link for "Direct" by simply putting the mouse on it and clicking it.

Come back to CGN and pick the little icon in the reply window that looks like a tree in a picture frame. Paste the text you copied into that. Your picture will now show in your post.

If you have a lot of them to do, you can just put

at the end. Easy once you've done it once.

l like the manners a lot, didnt want to go too ''tactical'' looking, it was a couple hundred bucks less than a mcmillan with no lead time and more features. l couldnt really find any reason not to get one. Nothing negative on the net about them besides not being a mcmillan. l went with the heavier one, this rifle is far from a lightweight, im happy with it. Cant wait to get the other barrel on it to see what i can do with some hevier stuff at long range.
