It's January 2020 again - what shooting stuff would you have bought more of?

I would have bought a few more flats of primers, definitely more powders like IMR4166, H4350, H4895….. a few boxes of ammo(always good to have stuff already made) and bullets nosler partiton, Norma oryx and Swift Aframe in 9.3x62 and 30-06 for sure!

Reloading stuff, a skid of .223, and one of .22LR and 3-4 T97s - and a new concrete garage with reinforced walls.

Powder. I have enough primers to do, probably more components than I will ever shoot except in .30 cal, but not enough powder to fire them all off. Really wishing RL 26 would make a comeback.

I would have resisted buying several rifles that ended up with deficiencies and undisclosed problems. No more buying without first inspecting in person.

I'm really surprised that more people aren't bringing up handguns that they wished they'd bought when they could. My guess is that most of you bought and sold as needed before the window closed. I wish I could have got the new FN refresh of the Browning high power, but I don't think they were ever imported in to Canada - certainly not in Jan 2020.

As for powder and primers I have lots, partly because I'm so disorganized. Back in the day, I often bought primers because I wasn't sure I had many, when I fact I already had lots.

Out of curiosity, are people thinking that the shortages of reloading supplies will end soon or are there those who think that they need to make what they have last for the rest of their lives? I'm seeing fewer people at the ranges. Are people really cutting back on shooting because of the shortages?

When powder and primers are selling for 8-10x the price, I think people are re-directing those funds to food, gas and heat.

Also the range near me is a ghost town now with no AR shooters, yet there is still a waiting list for membership.
