This year for our local rimfire shooting competition I've been tasked with purchasing the prize! The prize this year is to be a scope.
Now normally I'd just go purchase a simple NcStar (it's a free competition and prizes come out of my own pocket) for $50 and be done.
But there seems to be some stipulations this year from the rest of the "staff".
The spending limit is MAX $200 (shipping included) and the cheapest is $100 (plus shipping).
Scope must have AO and have magnification more than 3-9 (2-10, 4-12, 6-24, etc is what they want). Don't ask me why this is what was voted on before I got there....
So needless to say I'm chipping in the first $100 and I can get a MAX of $100 more out of the competition coffers.
It doesn't matter if the scope is new or used but they want the "best they can get for the price range".
