IUR barrel nut wrench

Anyone know where I can purchase an IUR barrel nut wrench? TNA no longer makes them, Nordic Marksman is OOS.

Alternatively, is there a gunsmith in ON / GTA that can remove the barrel?

Even if you find a gunsmith, how will you get the gun there? You can't get an ATT, and you would have needed one even if it was just restricted. Uppers are now prohib too.

Is it a standard barrel otherwise? I was thinking the same thing, but mostly about contacting local gunsmiths and asking if they can remove it.

15.7" IUR barrel was more accurate than target 18" barrel.

Yes it's a standard barrel more or less, it just has some index cuts for the gas block that don't preclude use in other guns.

It's not a gunsmith job at all if you have the wrench. Which I do.

I think there were two places that sold them. Nordic was one and I'm sorry, can't remember the other one. The 'other' one sold a nice shiny one where nordic sold the rusted out one (lol). I got it 'just in case' it was needed - hopefully not.

Well we can do a wrench share club or something with a deposit and promise to return.

Does anyone have a barrel nut? Or the dimensions for it? I got an Ohlins cartridge kit for my track motorcycle, and could not get my hands on the correct installation tool quick enough, which was also around $500 from Ohlins. So machined my own tool out of a piece of tubing on my CNC machine. It looks almost eaxctly like what the IUR tool looks like when I google it. I made 2 and sold one to another guy online that was looking for one also.

Its pretty easy for me to do this if someone has the dimenions or even just the nut for me to measure, if there is a demand for them I could machine up a batch

I have a couple nuts, I could loan one to get the project going. I'm also willing to disassemble uppers. Loaning the tool... well I have the concern of it not being returned and then I'm also at square one.

What dims do you need? Diameter, wall thickness, length and...? I can measure on the wrench I have once you post a list.
