IUR C9 flash hider

I was wondering if the c9 flash hider is pinned or not. Trying to clean the crown of the barrel but, its not budging and i don't want to damage it if its pinned.

Damaging the crown does mess up your guns accuracy. just pull throughs with some cleaning solvent, dry patch and all the important bits are clean.

Many a rifle has been ruined by troops trying to clean the crown for inspection.

Thanks guys, its my first ar15, bought it used thought the copper build up would affect the accuracy.

If you are that concerned put some copper solvent down and wipe it with a q tip. But no if you use good bore cleaner with some pull throughs thats all you need once in a while.
