If it is a 3 inch, it should say on it, otherwise I would not shoot
3 inch till checked, that is easy , I make hard wood bowels out of maple
,turned on a lath to fit the camber and about 4 inch long, or try to find
something that slides in the chamber snug, then mark on the gauge
the depth it drops in and them measure it; 2 1/2 in would be 2 3/4" min,
and 2 3/4" chamber is 3 inch + ,so I would think a 3 inch would be 3 1/4"
,thou I don't have my gauges handy.
If you can find a 3 inch marked barrel, use that for a reference and mark your gauge, than try in your gun.
Hope this is clear as mud to you.
