IVI ball... what powder?

I am curios as to what powder the IVI plant uses in their NATO 5.56 C77 ammo. I have heard and I agree it looks like AA2230. However I would like your opinions. This probably should be in the ammo fourm but I figuer the reloaders would have a better idea. If it is this ball powder do you think is posesses some of the poor qualities of other ball powders like Winchesters WC846 of the Vietnam erra which caused many problems with port pressure, cyclic rate, fouling problems in the M16?

If it is ball powder it is likely Somchem, possibly Primex. Extruded it is Expro.

Looks to me to be like WC 735, I have used this, it is 5% hotter than H335 and both work great in my 223 loads.

I use 24.7 grains of Alliant ReLoader 15. With the 62gr SS109's this is just about the same as C77 Ball ammunition. ReLoader 15 is very consistent through a wide temperature variations

I took apart a C77 IVI 5.56 cartridge and measured the charge. It weighed 25.5gr using an unknown ball powder, similar to WC735 or WC845. In my 20"Colt HBAR, the muzzle velocity is about 3100fps. If anyone had information on the exact powder type, I'd be interested too
