Anyone here know who a good IWI dealer in Canada would be ?
I need a spare part- two top rail mount clamps- as the last missing pieces to convert my Tavor IDF to flat top. I imagine IWI will have them but be hesitant to ship across the border. I'm looking for a dealer that deals with them and could get those 2 claps on their next shipment.
North Sylva is too large to deal with one off spare parts I imagine.

I know the parts you are looking for and have searched far and wide to try and bring some in.
I spoke to IWI USA, they were friendly and knowledgeable, but they asked where I was calling from and once I told them I was Canadian they told me to contact IWI Israel or the Canadian importer (NS). NS responded to my first email but ignored subsequent emails.

I contacted Red Rock Switzerland they had the parts and were willing to ship to Canada but the cost was about 190.- plus shipping with no guarantee that it'd make it through customs.

I ended up buying a complete top rail in Canada and just scavenged the parts off of it. It was far less money than ordering that little picatinny base. An alternative would be to just get a local shop to make one, or if you're handy, make it yourself. Simple design, easy to make on a mill.

I've dealt with Azt(ech) armoury (not a site sponsor) and they were able to import a bunch of x95 parts several years ago. Maybe send them an email with the parts you are looking for and they can add them to their website. And they can handle the import

Quick update on this-
I spoke to IWI this morning and they were very helpful and directed me to get in touch with ###### Armory as well.
###### got back to me promptly and everything is pending for now but it sounds promising.
Fingers crossed.

I think there was some legal issue the company got involved in a few years ago, possibly on the 80% lowers for glocks? Don't quote me on it though. I just know now they don't really deal in firearms But CGN takes a pretty firm line on them for sure. I've only ever had positive experiences with that company.... It's odd because you can talk about Cabelas, 911 Supply, Sail, or even small gun stores like Sports Action in Ottawa, or Proline shooters in Calgary and those aren't blocked out.

Edit: I found the article from 2019

An update to that case.

Reads like entrapment to me. Also at the time it was the RCMP's opinion that 80%'s were firearms.

I don't think that has been directly challenged in the courts nor do I know of any law that states 80%'s were firearms in that time period.

Well, that's all ridiculous. Especially if I remember correctly that it wasn't that long ago the RCMP interpretation of things would actually let us have 80% frames and receivers and turn them into full firearms as long as we were licensed for the final product...

RDSC, Firearms Outlet Canada, Gotenda and Hical carry Tavor spare parts. They're Canadian companies. Maybe reach out to them and see if they can get the part you need.
