I have a IWI Masada that is one of the optic ready versions and I was wondering if anyone has found a red dot that when mounted will allow the use of the original sights without putting taller sights on the slide.
I have read that there is a red dot out there that has been made to do this for a Glock but just not sure if there is one out there that will work on the Masada.

How does the RDS mount? Plates or direct to slide?

If plates, what plate(s) do you have?

If direct, which sight footprint hole pattern(s) does it have?

Generally an optic that can be mounted without adding an adapter plate between the optic and the slides optic cut will sit the lowest and offer the highest co witness possible without changing to taller sights

I believe the optic that came out designed to do so on the Glock MOS will also fit the Masada, the Holosun SCS. Not sure if they have realeased a Masada specifc one yet but they show one mounted to a Masada in this article

It does have plates that came with it but I don't remember which ones it comes with, currently I have a Vortex Venom on it which is good but just would like to be able to get one that would allow me to use the original iron sights if something happened to the RDS.
