are these being imported into Canada? if so, what's the price point and are they restricted or not?

if it isnt. id certainly buy one. would be awesome in 762 x 51. mind you. a 54r would be interesting...

but as 003 said. since it is based on the dragunov it is likely prohib.
 
I'm seriously underwhelmed with the lack of inspiration and innovation shown by Russian firearms manufacturers. The best they can come up with for a new firearm in the 21st century is a bullpup rehash of the Dragunov?

Did they even designe one semi or auto rifle since 1947 that did not have the stupid ak safety lever?

Why change what works ? Not like they have emissions control's to worry about. If it works flawlessly then there doesn't need to be a change.

Not true. Work on an intermediate cartridge and "assault" firearm was started well before the Second World War in Soviet Russia. It wasn't fully developed until the late 40s because the war effort demanded resources in more important fields and delayed R&D.
