We've shot 7 so far this week...they sure are bolting early this season, man they can run! Anyone else having any luck?

We went north the other weekend looking for some coyotes/jacks. I put one out of little cedar swamp and had no shot. The majority of the hunt was spent trying to get a truck unstuck. Glad to see you guys are doing well on them.

I have it sighted in 2in high at 100yards using factory 50gr Priv. I had laid prone with bi-pods directly downwind to try to peck him off laying around 170yards out, I shot just under him I figure, he bolted and I barely missed again around 230yards on the run. I followed him in my scope and he stopped up ahead sitting really tall on a small snow drift, he was way out there, I did not think the gun could do it but I took the last shot before I had planned to stalk again.

I held over but only maybe 8in on top of his head, it did not drop 21in....I figure maybe 16in. The bullet struck him in the spine about 4in below his shoulders. I paced it out at 340 paces, with a range finder it may have ranged 310..? I can't believe the shot was so accurate straight into a 10km wind.
