JAE-100 G2 in stock at Wolverine

maybe that's the result of people backing up on their pre-order?
these units take months to be delivered afterall

Once you hold one in your hands you'll understand.........although it is alot of money

Held one, I found it okay. The guy who had the JAE was really impressed with my Troy, jokingly asked if I would trade him. I turned him down.

Man, the decked out JAE with the thumb wheel adjustable cheek rest is $1725.00!

If I didn't have all my dosh sinked into another M14 project, I would really consider this stock.

For those who decide to pick it up, it seems to be a very sweet piece of kit.

D.

And just a FYI for ya'll, I have the G1 version, it's a heavy you know what. The G2 I believe drops a whole 1/2 pound of a 3 1/2lb stock.

Well, and there's the poor customability while in the field. That's just my 2 cents, looks good though I guess but I think there's better especially for $1600 bones.

I liked my JAE Gen 1 stock, and if I was dumb enough to shoot serious target/service/sniper rifle matches with an M14, this is the stock I would choose.

However, I much prefer the M14 as a shorty, optimised for CQB, rather than a long range target/sniper type rifle.

For that role, my side folding USGI fiberglass stock does the job much cheaper, and handles way better as well. And if I want to delude myself that an M14 is the right choice for "target" shootin, why then I've got my AKM with a "free floated" barrel [ The AKM is way overdue to have a close encounter with a chop saw, and become a CHOPMOD varient soon ].

Different strokes for different folks ....
