odd that they can't stay viable.
maybe something in their personal lives caused them to close the doors.
Wouldn't be the first time a family business went down due to illness, divorce or other outside influences.
Installed several JAE chassis when I was building M14 rifles and each one was a pleasure to install with no surprises.
Probably the most innovative chassis made for the M14 , with adjustment and bedding features that actually worked and worked very very well.

That's a shame. I always wanted to put together a build using one off their chassis. Cost was always the reason I would rule them out. Vendors want $2500 for one. So many other compelling choices for much less. KRG comes to mind.
