Well this is what "Santa" bought himself.

My first impressions:
1. FN Nice
2. It's heavy 10lbs Add this to the M14s and you got a big fat pig...So the next buy is a bipod.
3. I hated the way you install it... A lot. There are these two little clips with allen keys that is used to hold the receiver in place. They say pat. pend on them and I can see why. Dumb. Yea they work great but, they kept falling out when I tried to place the gun into the stock...very frustrating.
4. FN sweet
5. Very well made...the quality/workmanship is outstanding. The silk screen on the bottom rail is kind-of cool too.

If i were to give it a score: 8/10 (-1 weight) (-1 for them dam clips..There has to be a better way...)

I just got mine at Christmas also and am very very impressed with the stock and it's engineering. Mine fit the Norc action with an excellent solid and tight precision fit with no problems what so ever. I agree that the side plates can be a very minor pain to fit but I don't think it is a big issue myself because they lock the action up very solid. It is a good design.

The only issue I have with my stock is the length of the rollover comb cheekpiece. It is too long for me and my hands so I am going to machine up another one that doesn't come down the stock as far since I don't need anymore height for my scope.

Other than that I have no issues with the stock and am looking forward to shooting it soon.
