James River Armory has finally come across the border again, shipping their first batch of guns to us since the year. This shipment was a batch of 1903A3 straight stock "arsenal re-issue" rifles featuring hand-refinished USGI stocks and Criterion 4-groove match grade barrels which have been profiled, finished, and headspaced to USGI specs. For those new to these firearms, these guns are built one by one by hand by the expert smiths at JRA, using USGI receivers and parts which are hand-fitted and tested. The quality of fit and finish is second to none.
Given the chaos in the US firearms industry at the moment (and its effects on us up here!) we are super excited to finally see these come back into the store! JRA have been working very hard for us, but availability of these rifles is drying up on good days, let alone when everyone is panicking and buying everything in sight. They've really done amazing work for us to get these rifles into Canadian hands at last, and the tiny upside to the industry's delays is that their smiths have had ample time to really make these rifles really shine! And, as always, trying to get us more, more, more!
