Funny thing is that the OP's info shows he is in Abbotsford and Wanstall's is in Maple Ridge. For those who don't know, that is about a 10 to 15 minute drive!

what asking a question is a bad thing.. some places are open new years.. why is that a bad thing.. most small stores close allot dont..
 
I am surprised how many stores are open on holidays now. Time of year for some to make a buck. No harm in asking. Jeesh

I stand by what i said, this country is turning into a entitlement "me me me" type of toilet, it's new years day!!!! Like give me a break here, desnt anyone respect a holiday anymore?!? The op is too lazy to even pick up the phone or use common sense? seriously...

Also I had to work new years day, my job basically never closes.
