Is this worth anything as parts? I don't really have the space to keep it kicking around ....
Thanks again guys.

IIRC the Arisaka had the tangs made as a separate piece from the receiver at least on the ones I owned and all the drawings I have examined.

An Arisaka without a bolt is just about worthless, unless you find someone who happens to have a loose bolt. Which is quite unlikely.

It appears to be a type 38 carbine, which is a rare arisaka in Canada. It's worth a few bucks, even missing the bolt. Any Type 38 bolt will fit it, and there are lots of sporterized and junker Type 38's around to rob a bolt out of.

It the bore shootable? They are often somewhat ratty.

But not totally...

I have a bolt and action without the triggerguard/magazine I have no use for. Slight surface rust, but about the best and tightest action I have ever seen. The tang is not broken on the one above, as I have the tang, and it has the same separation line. I have sent lledwod a PM as I have zero use for this bolt and action... a year ago, I almost pitched it in the scrap.
