What’s the reason for the high price? Seems like there are lots of flaws in the design, including the receiver rail height

The price is wild. It resembles a 1022/PC Carbine Chassis Model Scaled up to 556/223. If ruger made this product it would sell for less as a complete firearm. JARD being tiny in comparison should have made a better product or came in at a more affordable price. In the US I can’t see how anyone would purchase this product over any other offerings. 1100 USD for a complete Jard180. If this price lowers I will def buy these sets and so would many others. Receiver height difference can be remedied with a custom pic rail height mlok rail.

cant i just order this from the states? its $350 for the builder kit https://jardinc.com/j180-builder-kit.html ($450 cad) there yet $1300 in canada? how badly are we getting ripped off here? it seems any NR semi auto centerfire automatically gets put in the 1000 dollar plus range for no reason. steel and aluminum aren't precious metals after all.
